In business for over 75 years, a local wholesale food distribution company has a position open for Delivery Driver to restaurants and other food service establishments.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Customer order assembly inside a refrigerated warehouse.
Staging and loading of daily route Monday through Friday.
Timely delivery of invoiced product - in a courteous manner - to customers on established routes.
Accountability for proper handling of product, invoices, and customer receipts.
Lawful and safe operation of 26 ft. long box truck.
Continuous lifting throughout the day (routinely 30 to 75 lbs, but up to 90 lbs).
Frequent exposure to cold temperatures in warehouse.
Early AM start time (5 a.m.)
May be asked to split time between driving and working in refrigerated warehouse.
Job Requirements:
- Prior Driving Experience; familiarity with Phoenix Metro Area roadways;
- Clean Driving Record (must have copy of recent MVR);
- Valid Class D Driver's License; CDL not required;
- Ability to pass DOT Screening (Physical Test; Drug Screening);
- Minimum 21 years of age.
