DELIVERY DRIVER (NON-CDL) / WAREHOUSE PROCESSING PLANT PRODUCTION
In business for over 75 years, a local wholesale food distribution company has a position open for Delivery Driver and Warehouse Production Worker in our processing plant. The job position is FULL-TIME 5:00 am to 1:00 pm; Monday through Friday.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Product packaging and steak wrapping.
General production needs including order assembly, stocking, and process machinery operation.
Pulling orders and loading delivery vehicle.
Timely delivery of invoiced product - in a courteous manner - to customers on established routes.
Assisting with facility maintenance, clean up and food processing sanitation.
Job conditions include:
Occasional heavy lifting (up to 80 lbs.) throughout the day.
Continuous standing or walking throughout the day.
Continual exposure to cold temperatures (45 degrees and lower) while in warehouse.
Early morning start time (5 a.m.).
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Ability to communicate using the English language.
- Clean Driving Record
- Ability to pass DOT screening (Physical Test; Drug Screening)
Previous experience in the meat industry is a plus.
