Position Title: Landscape Construction Lead Supervisor

Reports To: Operations Manager / Construction Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Lead Supervisor to oversee commercial and residential landscape construction projects from start to finish. This individual will lead field crews, ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, professionalism, and equipment care.
Essential Responsibilities
Project Management
• Supervise multiple landscape construction projects simultaneously.
• Read and interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment to meet project schedules.
• Monitor job progress and communicate daily updates to management.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company quality standards.
• Conduct job site inspections and resolve field issues promptly.
Team Leadership
• Lead, train, motivate, and mentor construction crews.
• Assign daily work responsibilities and ensure productivity goals are met.
• Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and quality expectations.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Hold employees accountable for attendance, performance, and workmanship.
Equipment & Fleet Management
• Ensure trucks, trailers, tools, and construction equipment are maintained in excellent working condition.
• Perform routine equipment inspections.
• Report maintenance needs immediately.
• Ensure all equipment is operated safely and properly.
• Maintain organized trailers, storage areas, and job sites.
Quality Control
• Ensure installations meet Cornerstone Landscape quality standards.
• Inspect completed work before customer walkthroughs.
• Correct deficiencies before project completion.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
Customer Relations
• Represent Cornerstone Landscape professionally on every project.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, inspectors, and vendors.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of landscape construction experience.
• Minimum 2 years supervising construction crews.
• Strong knowledge of:
o Irrigation installation and repairs
o Pavers and hardscape installation
o Retaining walls
o Concrete preparation
o Plant installation
o Grading and drainage
o Artificial turf installation
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 75 pounds.
• Work outdoors in Arizona weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on uneven terrain throughout the day.
