We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Restoration Technician to serve as a critical first responder in property loss situations.

1. Position Tasks & Responsibilities
The Restoration Technician is responsible for mitigating property damage and ensuring the successful restoration of structures and contents.
Emergency Mitigation & Cleanup:
-Perform water extraction and damage mitigation.
-Execute fire and smoke cleaning and restoration services.
-Conduct microbial remediation (mold abatement).
-Provide cleaning for vandalism, crime scenes, and biohazards.
Structural Stabilization:
-Perform necessary demolition and site preparation.
-Secure the structure through board-up and site stabilization.
-Contents & Cleaning:
-Perform on-location and specialized carpet cleaning.
-Assist with content pack-outs, processing, deodorization, storage, and handling.
-Equipment & Field Management:
-Set up, monitor, and break down specialized restoration equipment.
-Manage and supervise temporary labor personnel on the job site.
-Manage and maintain inventories of all equipment, material, consumables, and tools.
Documentation & Service:
-Complete all necessary paperwork, including daily progress reports, moisture logs, safety logs, and diagrams.
-Provide the highest level of customer service, adhering to all company best practices.
-Participate in an Emergency Services/After-hours on-call rotation.
2. Essential Requirements & Skills
Technical & Operational:
-Ability to manage and maintain a clean and organized appearance of vehicle, equipment, material, and consumables on the job site and in the warehouse at all times.
-Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping (paperwork, logs, diagrams).
-Commitment to adhering to all company policies and best practices.
-Ability to use a tablet to document various needs: typing, reading, take photos, export and submit)
-Ability to use various software applications for job documentation. (GoogleSuites, CRM, Apple Ipad)
Professionalism & Communication:
-Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
-Ability to work professionally and empathetically with customers and team members.
-Travel: Availability for travel in response to out-of-town projects and/or catastrophic events is required.
3. Physical Demands
This role is physically demanding and requires the following capabilities:
-Work Environment: The job involves working on active job sites, often requiring strenuous physical activity and exposure to various environments during the mitigation process.
-Mobility: Requires the ability to stand, walk, lift, squat, crawl, and crouch.
-Lifting & Moving: Must be able to move and carry construction materials and supplies weighing in excess of 50 pounds on occasion.
-Equipment Use: Use of ladders, scaffolding & hand-tools will be required.
Work Environment:
-Be exposed to various indoor and outdoor working conditions, including environments with or without air conditioning and heating.
-Must be willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including suits, masks, and gloves, in certain circumstances (e.g., mold or biohazard situations).
4. Qualifications
-Certification: Willingness to obtain or already possess IICRC accreditations for Fire & Smoke Restoration, Water Damage Restoration, and Microbial Remediation.
-Licensing: Must maintain a valid and current driver’s license.
-Background Check: Due to working with varies insurance carriers this is a requirement
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: Pay will be based upon expertise, value brought to the company, and relevant accreditations.
Equipment: All tools required for this position are provided, as well as a company vehicle during work hours.
Benefits: Paid time off/Vacation time, Holiday pay, and Health insurance are available after 90 days of employment.
