This is not a drop-in job - the dog will stay in your home.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable around dogs, calm, responsible, and able to follow a clear structure. You do not need to be a professional trainer, but you must be confident handling a dog and maintaining consistency.
A new opportunity has opened up in the Phoenix area, and for the right fit, we are willing to coordinate a halfway meeting point for drop-off to make transportation easier.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Hosting one dog in your home for a Board & Train program
• Working with the dog daily to build calm behavior and structure
• Reinforcing good manners and reliable habits
• Following a simple, guided training plan
• Providing occasional updates on progress
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong comfort level handling dogs
• Calm, patient, and reliable personality
• Ability to safely host a dog in your home (required)
• A stable living environment (house or apartment is fine)
• Good communication and follow-through
Ideal Background (Helpful but Not Required):
• Pet sitter / Rover sitter
• Dog owner with hands-on experience
• Dog daycare, rescue, or volunteer work
Important Details:
• Dog will stay with you full-time during the program
• Must be available to start soon
• Flexible structure depending on your schedule
• Compensation discussed based on experience
