Guitar Lessons & More for All Ages and Styles (Phoenix/Scottsdale)

I'm a music teacher based in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and accepting new students.
I’ve been playing guitar for over 15 years. I've taught privately as well as at a music schools in the area and in WA. My first instrument was upright bass, and shortly after learning upright I took up electric bass and guitar. Since then I've played in several bands, some of which toured the country. I teach using a variety of different methods, and I'm very comfortable teaching music theory to anyone that's interested. I also love to help people learn how to start writing their own songs in addition to playing guitar and bass. Although I’ve played in mostly rock, indie rock, and noise/post punk bands, I've taught several different genres and would feel comfortable helping you learn whatever genre/style that you’re passionate about.
*I teach bass, beginner piano, and ukulele in addition to guitar.
