Responsibilities
•Apply automotive seam sealer and protective undercoating to production units according to work instructions.
•Ensure proper coverage, appearance, and quality of sealants and coatings.
•Prepare surfaces as needed before applying sealants and undercoating.
•Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
•Maintain production efficiency while following established procedures.
•Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
•Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
•Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
•Previous experience applying automotive seam sealers, undercoating, or protective coatings is required.
•Experience working in an automotive manufacturing, collision repair, body shop, RV, trailer manufacturing, or vehicle upfitting environment preferred.
•Familiarity with automotive sealants, adhesives, coatings, or similar products.
•Ability to follow detailed work instructions and quality standards.
•Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
•Comfortable working in an environment where clothing may become dirty due to sealants and coatings.
•Reliable attendance with a strong work ethic.
•Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
