1978 Fender Vibro Champ amp - $700

For sale here is a clean 78 Vibro Champ, recently serviced by Lowell Hunt, who changed some caps and put in a good 3 prong chord. It has my favorite speaker for this kind of amp: a Weber 8A125, which is fuller, clearer, better bottom, 11 oz mag, 20 watts. Because I remembered this model of speaker being amazing except for a bit too dark from when I had one years ago, I asked Lowell to put a bright cap on the volume knob, just in case. He said if I don't like, it's easy to just pull out the chassis slightly and clip it because it's easy to find right there on the volume. I like it like this because I don't have to turn the treble to 10 and still not be bright enough. It crackles a tiny bit when idling but is totally serviced and good to go.

Anyway, it's a lovely little vintage Layla amp I'd prefer not to sell, but alas. I can send sound clips if you want. Cash only.
