The Kemper Profiler Rack (Non-Powered) is a 3U solid-state digital amp profiling head. It recreates the exact tone and feel of real tube amplifiers and cabs while offering studio-grade effects, making it an incredibly popular choice for touring and studio use. It can be operated via the front panel or by user interface ("Rig Manager").
Unlike traditional analog amplifier heads, the Kemper uses proprietary digital profiling technology to "capture" the sound, EQ, and dynamic response of any amplifier. The non-powered version means it does not have an internal power amplifier, so it must be paired with an external power amp (if using a traditional guitar cabinet) or routed directly into a full-range flat-response (FRFR) active speaker system or front-of-house (FOH) mixing board.
