2007 C. Schmidt Copy of Antonio Stradivarius (1/2 size)

The label states, "European Craftsmanship" in the bottom left corner and "USA" in the bottom right corner. We tried to find more information on this, but couldn't find much.

A new bridge was made a few years ago at Arizona Fine Violins, and a new set of strings was installed then.

Tight grain spruce top with one piece flame maple back.

When our daughter moved from a 1/4 size violin to a 1/2 size violin, we tried renting. After a few months, she wasn't satisfied with the sound of the rentals (and her teacher agreed) so we bought this one after trying (and returning) a few, which she played until it was time to upgrade to a 3/4.

This is a great instrument for someone who is learning. We do not have the need for this instrument so hoping to find a good home for this violin.
