Selling my Telefunken U47 AE (Anniversary Edition).
Telefunken Elektroakustik relaunched the U47 microphone in the mid-00s as the U47 AE – a faithful copy of the original Neumann U47, built with classic components. The AE designation was only used for a limited period before the model was once again simply called the U47.
The microphone has an M7 capsule (the same type as in the vintage models), BV8 transformer and the correct VF14K tube, developed as a modern, stable and very faithful reproduction of the legendary VF14 tube.
The condition is excellent: well-maintained, smoke-free studio and never lent out.
