Hello, 32 year old male singer looking to put together a small group to play jazz and standards with the goal of playing out and pushing it as far as we can take it. Ideally bass, drums, and keys or guitar. In a perfect world we would get to mix in some Motown and R&B, some rearranged pop and even a little soul. You know, get people dancing while maintaining a cool, classic style.
It may be a moonshot but I want to do this for a living so I would like to find some folks who are looking for the same. I spent my 20’s in rock bands and now that I have a family I want to get back to what is really my first love. Instead of listing influences I’ll put in songs that will fit the feeling I’d like to go for.
