It will work in a single screen configuration but is designed to work in the dual screen configuration.
You cannot use 2 3rd row screens to make dual screen setup in your vehicle, you need a 2nd row screen (orange connectors) and a 3rd row screen (white connectors) to make the dual screen setup.
That being said in a single screen setup a 2nd row screen or a 3rd row screen can be used.
Chrysler from the factory, uses a 3rd row screen in the 2nd row in a single screen configuration and using a true 2nd row screen in the single screen configuration is a waste in my opinion as these true 2nd row screens are much more rare than 3rd row screens.
