About the place:
Its a nice little 3 bedroom townhouse/condo near 19th ave and Northern. The area has been changing with the addition of the lightrail on 19th ave, but our place is nestled in a little villa that has only one way in or out, which seems to keep the area nice and peaceful. We have a good wifi, washer/dryer, 2 fridges/freezers, a well used kitchen with lots of utensils, appliance, and gadgets, and we like to keep that A/C cold in the summer :). We split Utilities evenly 3 ways. Around 60-80 a month in the winter and about 150 a month in the summer. Move in when you want, before Aug 1st. rent and utils will be prorated.
About the room:
The unit has 2 floors, your room is upstairs , the room is larger than most non master rooms, and has a good size walk in closet too. It has a hallway that leads to the shared Jack and Jill style bathroom. I'd estimate the room is about 10 feet by 12 or 13 feet, and the closet is about 6 feet by 8 feet.
There is 2 of us, I live in the neighboring upstairs room, and share the bathroom with you. Regi, has the room downstairs, and has 2 very well trained, well mannered dogs. The dogs stay in his room unless he is with them, and they never come upstairs, they have been trained not to. Regi and I are both nerds... he likes Star Trek, I like Star Wars, but we can both agree on Firefly and Battlestar Galactica. You don't have to be a nerd, but you gotta know what youre getting into!
We dont care about race, gender, orientation, or any of that. We just want a good roommate that is respectful to others, and to the place. Communication is important as well as willingness to compromise if there is ever an issue. All non negotiable matters will be discussed and agreed on prior to reaching a rental agreement. Cleanliness is always an interesting subject. Yes, its absolutely important...however, we live here and have busy lives. As long as you are picking up after yourself, and contributing to the group effort of maintaining the cleanliness, and understand that the place is not going to sparkle like a Mr. Clean commercial 24/7, then we should be alright!
I think that pretty well should give you an idea if you want to consider this roommate situation, or not. If you have any questions, please, feel free to ask.
