Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to oversee and protect the construction site. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining site security, preventing unauthorized access, and ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and materials. This position requires frequent walking and continuous monitoring of the job site throughout the shift. You will verify that all personnel entering the premises gets checked into facial recognition system and that they check out (used for safety purposes).
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and control access to the Factory site & Into Buildings
• Monitor Camera
• Patrol the site regularly, requiring extensive walking to monitor all areas of the job site
• Prevent theft, vandalism, or damage
• Verify identification of workers, visitors, and deliveries
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or incidents
• Maintain daily security logs and incident reports
• Coordinate with site management and emergency services when necessary
• Enforce site safety and security procedures
• Coordinate with Shipping and Receiving when shipments arrive
Requirements:
• Previous security experience preferred (construction site experience an advantage)
• Physically fit and able to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to workday and weekend
• Clean background check
IMPORTANT JOB DETAILS:
• Outdoor factory environment – must be comfortable working in various weather conditions
• Operating hours: vary seasonally in accordance with weather conditions and daylight availability (for productivity and workplace safety)
General schedules
Summer: 5am-1:30pm Fall: 6am-2:30pm Winter: 7am-3:30pm
• Full PPE required/provided (hard hat, gloves, safety vest, etc.) except for steel-toe boots (which are required).
