Hello all. I have had this ultra light bug bivy with rain fly for two months now and spent a lot of time working out the lightest and easiest set up, but it is not for me. I didn't save enough weight to win me over from my current set up and I haven't taken it camping. Please note that I don't use trekking poles so all of my setups require a pole or two and, without the poles, the weight comes down quite a bit. Bug bivy, tarp and dyneema ground sheet are custom made by Borah Gear in Montana. The workmanship is fantastic and current lead times are at least a month. Total weight for the whole thing is 1lb 9.8oz. Barely over 1.25lbs for complete shelter for trekking pole users.
