Remote Video Conversation Partner for AI Training (English) (Pheonix)

Role Description
In this role, you will participate in five-minute recorded video conversations with another person. Each conversation is unscripted and based on topics that come up naturally as you get to know each other.

For example, some topics you may talk about:

• Something you've been excited about lately
• A place you'd love to visit
• Hobbies you've picked up recently

The focus is on having a clear, natural conversation: listening, responding, and engaging with genuine interest.

This is a fully remote, freelance position that offers complete flexibility in when and how much you work. We are currently looking for individuals based in the United States.

Compensation
$50 per recorded hour
Additional performance-based incentives may be available

Responsibilities

• Participate in recorded five-minute video conversations with a matched partner
• Engage naturally by listening, reacting, and responding with genuine interest
• Maintain clear video and audio quality throughout each session

About You

• Fluent in English with clear speech and strong conversational skills
• Comfortable speaking on camera and engaging with new people
• Able to maintain good lighting, stable framing, and clear audio throughout recordings
• Reliable and able to follow project guidelines carefully

Technical Requirements

• Camera capable of recording at 720p or higher at a minimum of 30 FPS
• Laptop or desktop computer (tablets and phones not supported)
• External or USB microphone preferred for clear, natural audio
• Good lighting and a distraction-free background
• Stable internet connection capable of supporting smooth video calls
