These have been well used and show normal wear. Both mics have vernier scales that read to .0001 and they both read within .0001. The Brown & Sharpe has a friction thimble and the Mitutoyo just has a standard spindle. They both seem to have been taken care of and move easily over their entire range. Neither one has a case.
