Drywall Estimator:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced drywall estimator. Qualified candidates will possess experience estimating the construction of multiple drywall projects, which will include both new construction and renovations.

Drywall Estimator Responsibilities:

Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple drywall projects is required
Review, create, submit quality estimates with detailed proposals
Prepare high-level quantity and manpower take-offs
Comprehensively analyze plans, specifications, proposals and additional documentation to prepare bid estimates for projects
Attend site visits,pre-bid meetings, job site walk-throughs, bids, and coordination meetings
Must maintain an extremely professional working relationship with clients, subcontractors, and peers
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

The ability to proficiently provide estimates & estimating services
Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with Quick-Bid & On-Screen Takeoff is a must
Knowledge of construction processes and terminology
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Ability to fully understand plans and specifications
Excellent communication skills; both internal and external
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Experience as an Estimator with a primary focus on gypsum wallboard assemblies, acoustical ceiling systems, and interior finishes






Drywall Superintendents:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for selecting, hiring, terminating and managing the field labor force to ensure contract work is completed within budget hours for maximum profit
Check, Measure, and correct average labor rates on their jobs to ensure labor meets budgets
Review job setups prior to start date to ensure budget and schedule manpower appropriately
Inspect work in progress to ensure workmanship conforms to job specifications and meets quality standards
Onboard, terminate and supervise field employees
Enforce and adhere to company policies & procedures
Hire and schedule subcontractor work when necessary
Address and handle job site problems and attend sub contractor meetings
Promote quality and service to our customers
Assist Estimators and Project Engineers in assessing special conditions
Obtain equipment and materials as needed in the Field
Direct and oversee subcontractors
Adhere to OSHA regulatory standards

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Drywall Superintendent or 10+ years a general foreman
Able to read and interpret blueprints
Advanced skills in organizing construction sites and field personnel
Bilingual skills required, proficient verbal and written communications skills in both English and Spanish
OSHA 10 certified
Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner
Must possess personal integrity and a superior reputation.
