Job Responsibilities
•Operate mobile and stationary shear cranes in a scrap recycling environment
•Safely operate CAT Material Handlers, Liebherr, and Sierra equipment
•Load, unload, sort, and move scrap materials efficiently and safely
•Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
•Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
•Follow all company safety policies and procedures
•Communicate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors to support production goals
Requirements
•5+ years of crane or heavy equipment operating experience preferred
•Experience operating material handlers or shear equipment in a recycling, scrap, or industrial environment
•Strong understanding of jobsite safety and equipment operation
•Ability to work long shifts and in outdoor conditions
•Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
•Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
