Apartment Maintenance Technician

*Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
* Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
•Perform daily service, routine, and preventative maintenance in apartment units and common areas.
•Complete make-ready tasks including basic repairs, prep work, and painting.
•Prepare move-in inspection reports for new and vacating residents.
•Conduct safety inspections throughout the property.
•Troubleshoot and repair minor roofing, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry issues.
•Track and manage the key/lock system; change locks as needed.
•Install basic appliances such as dishwashers, ranges, and refrigerators.
•Provide courtesy services to tenants, including package delivery and pool/spa maintenance support.
•Repaint interior and exterior common areas as needed.
•Assist Maintenance Manager and Community Manager with additional assigned projects.
Qualifications:
•2+ years of apartment maintenance or related experience preferred, including basic skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance installation.
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, reach overhead, and perform physical maintenance tasks.
•Ability to understand, follow, and execute written and verbal instructions.
•Must pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with multi-housing regulations.
•Strong communication, reliability, and problem-solving skills.
