We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Field Foreman to lead field crews and help drive projects to successful completion. This is not a “sit back and supervise” role — we are looking for a motivated leader who leads by example, works alongside the crew, and keeps projects moving safely and efficiently.
Our company specializes in high-end residential and commercial construction projects including custom fabrication, structural installations, welding, handrails, fencing, gates, shade structures, and more.

Position Overview
The Field Foreman will oversee a small crew of 2–3 employees while actively participating in daily field operations. This role requires strong leadership, fabrication and welding experience, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
• Manage and lead field crews on commercial and residential job sites
• Read and interpret shop drawings and construction plans
• Coordinate workflow and keep projects progressing on schedule
• Make confident field decisions and problem-solve independently
• Perform hands-on construction, fabrication, and installation work
• Maintain safe and organized job sites
• Record daily logs, crew hours, job reports, purchases, and receipts using company-issued tablet
• Maintain company truck, trailers, tools, and equipment
• Work cooperatively with other trades on active job sites
• Ensure all safety procedures and PPE requirements are followed
• Assist in shop work when needed
• Possibility for out of town travel for projects
Required Skills & Experience
• Previous Foreman or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of multiple construction trades
• Stainless steel, Aluminum, MIG and Stick welding experience
• Strong fabrication skills
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings/Erection drawings
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying environments
• Ability to work at heights and operate:
o Forklifts
o Boom lifts
o Scissor lifts
• Good math and deductive reasoning skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable pulling trailers
• Ability to adapt and take on unfamiliar tasks when needed
• Clean driving record
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
• Rigging knowledge

Compensation & Benefits
• Starting pay: $30+/hour depending on experience and ability
• Overtime paid after 40 hours
• Weekly pay
• Typical four 10-hour workdays

Additional Requirements
• Must pass a basic welding test
• Must pass a shop drawing test
• MUST PASS DRUG SCREEN INCLUDING MARIJUANA
• Must wear hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, and safety toe footwear at all times
