We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Irrigation Specialist to join our landscape maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting irrigation systems across various properties. Your expertise will ensure healthy, vibrant landscapes by delivering efficient watering solutions that conserve water and promote plant health. Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs
Adjust watering schedules based on weather conditions, seasonal changes, and landscape requirements to optimize water usage
Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate irrigation needs with overall landscape care plans
Troubleshoot complex issues within irrigation systems, including electrical controls and mechanical parts
Maintain detailed records of system installations, repairs, inspections, and modifications for future reference
Experience:
Proven experience working with irrigation systems in landscaping or construction environments
Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing, electrical controls, and hydraulic systems associated with irrigation equipment
Familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general landscaping principles
Hands-on experience operating hand tools, power tools, trenchers, and other construction machinery
Knowledge of horticulture practices related to plant health and water management strategies
Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics related to irrigation system layouts
Prior experience working in outdoor environments with exposure to varying weather conditions is preferred
Experience needed for both two wire and traditional irrigation systems.
