We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment on construction sites or in existing facilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications
Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe connections and system repairs, ensuring strong and leak-proof joints
Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to site safety protocols
Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems
Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning in accordance with project specifications
Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing or HVAC systems during field service or remodeling projects
Skills
8 Years Minimum Experience
Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety standards
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment
Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and heavy lifting techniques
Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in HVAC systems, schematics, and general maintenance practices
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly on-site
Valid driver’s license preferred for site access or material transport purposes
Experience in remodeling, assembly work, handyman tasks, or general maintenance is a plus
