Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport and deliver materials while ensuring safe loading, unloading, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a CDL Class A vehicle.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Maintain communication with dispatch and supervisors.
Verify delivery locations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
Follow all CEMEX, DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and MSHA regulations.
Maintain a professional appearance and promote teamwork.
Complete startup and shutdown procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid CDL Class A license.
Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience.
No DUI/DWI within the last 5 years.
No more than 3 moving violations in the last 7 years.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
High school diploma/GED preferred.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Required use of PPE.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform climbing, pushing, pulling, and other physical tasks.
Must pass a DOT physical, hearing test, and drug/alcohol screening.
