The Regional/OTR (Over the Road) CDL Team Driver's role is to transport goods from Vendors to all Nellis Auction Properties, both near and far. The CDL driver should perform all duties within the confines of the Federal Regulations and State laws in a SAFE and efficient manner.
To ensure success as a CDL Team Driver, you should pay close attention to the types and quantities of stock being delivered to avoid company losses. An exceptional CDL driver will be able to drive safely in all conditions, regardless of the time of day all while demonstrating the Company’s Core Values.
Team .70 CPM plus Detention and Layover pay (up to $135k per driver per year) Home every week!!!
Plan and execute pickups and deliveries safely, on time, and in compliance with company and DOT standards
Collect, inspect, and secure freight to prevent damage; verify seals against Bills of Lading (BOL).
Accurately record driving statuses in MOTIVE ELD and manage rest breaks per DOT regulations.
Determining the details, pickup locations, and destinations, of all deliveries.
Collecting, loading stock and inspections of loads in a manner that prevents breakage where applicable.
Keeping track of all reasonable expenses and submitting proof thereof to obtain refunds.
Reporting all vehicle-related issues for urgent attention.
Inspections of tractors, trailers, and the accurate reporting of conditions.
Ensuring that the truck always has sufficient fuel.
Safely and efficiently complete drop-and-hook trailer moves.
Communicate proactively with Managers and Dispatch regarding delays or potential issues.
Inspect tractors and trailers daily, report defects, and perform minor repairs as required.
Manage fuel levels properly using the company’s fuel/credit card per policy.
Team Driver Responsibilities:
Driving Dedicated lanes
Team Driving & Split-Shift: Drivers are responsible for coordinating driving shifts to maximize safe transit while strictly adhering to FMCSA Hours of Service regulations for team operations.
Living Quarters: Since team drivers share the sleeper berth/cab, maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment is a shared responsibility. Drivers must keep personal belongings secure and orderly to ensure a comfortable and professional space for their co-driver.
Approximately 6,000 plus miles weekly

Requirements
Qualifications / Requirements:
2+ years of CDL driving experience required; OTR experience preferred.
Current Class A CDL and valid DOT medical card.
Must meet and maintain insurability under the company’s auto insurance policy.
Experience operating day cab and sleeper tractors with 53’ trailers.
Skilled in safely operating tractors and docking trailers in diverse conditions, weather etc.
Must be able to remain fit for duty and exercise discretion in challenging driving conditions.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs; complete team (2 or more) lifts of over 50 lbs.
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment and work as a Team.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
