We are a small, local trucking company with daily routes in Phoenix and neighboring cities. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A truck driver to join our team. The position offers daily home time, weekends off, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
● Position: Class A CDL Truck Driver
● Hours: Typically begin between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, with shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours, depending on the day.
● Routes: Local deliveries in neighboring cities with some drop and hook
● Equipment: 10-speedand13-speed transmission trucks(53ft dry van)
Job Requirements:
● Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience
● Must be able to drive 5 days a week, with flexibility in schedule
● Clean motor vehicle record with no major violations in the last 3 years
● Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test and FMCSA clearhouse query
● PPE required(Monday-Friday)
● Strong communication skills, both with dispatch and customers
● Independent, reliable, and punctual with no need for micromanagement
● Professional, assertive communication with customers on-site and via phone
● Treat company equipment as your own
● Adaptable and eager to learn
● Reliable personal transportation required
