OTR position hiring nationwide. Pick some of your own loads
Expected income:
Estimated about 1.5–2k most weeks. Can go higher sometimes, there is no cap. Pay is percent based per load. Percent increases may occur over time based on performance and safety. 1k guaranteed weekly minimum if working 50+ drive hours.
Per diem.
Detention pay.
Annual loyalty bonus: 2K for year one, increasing by 1K each additional year, capping at 20K.
Qualifications:
6+ months OTR experience
Legally able to work in US
Speak and read English
Current CDL-A
About the job:
You’ll be working as a W-2 company driver for Curb Hopper Transport, hauling 53 ft Schneider dry van trailers.
OTR all 48. Mostly in the east up to Texas, but sometimes can go west.
You’ll have access to the load board and can pick some of your own loads. I’ll also be assigning you loads.
About 3/4th live loads, 1/4th drop and hooks.
You’ll have access to Schneider OC’s, many of which have free laundry and showers. Will park truck at Schneider OC or drop lot closest to your home during home time.
In areas with speed limit of 80 or more, you must stay 79 or below.
Split sleeper not allowed.
Fueling done at Pilots.
Schedule:
About 3 months out, or more if you prefer. 2 weeks home time per 3 months out. Not a strict schedule. Home time for holidays, emergencies, etc. will be accommodated.

2020 Freightliner Cascadia, color maroon
Has a fold up lounge with 2 seats and a table under bed
Double bunk
Full size cattle guard
Large chain/storage box
Thermo King APU
CB radio, but no antennas
There are NO inward facing cameras. No advanced AI things. It has the basic hard brake and roll instability notifications that go to Schneider, and adaptive cruise control.

About the on boarding experience:
You’ll have a phone interview with me first, then will be contacted by Schneider, and they’ll verify your information, do a background check, and have you take a drug test.
Then you’ll be scheduled to take a 3 day class with Schneider in Phoenix, AZ. Hotel is covered, usually free breakfast at hotel, and free lunch provided at Schneider. Class is part of the pre-employment process. If hired you will be paid $300 for the 3 day class. Flight reimbursement (if applicable) and class pay are issued after hire and distributed across the first couple paychecks.
