I run http://www.rosecitytransit.org which, among other things, records all calls of the transit system in the Portland, Oregon area. That has prompted someone with a relative down there to ask that recording of Phoenix's light rail and bus systems be set up.
I had picked up an Intel NUC cheaply and it is now recording and uploading the two main sites on the city's radio system to OpenMHz at https://openmhz.com/system/phxrwc. However a) the NUC appears to be overtaxed and b) light rail is only carried on a different site and the buses are on a completely different system.
I am wondering if anyone has a better computer that they would be willing to provide (either at their place or delivered to near the main Phoenix post office) so that recording of the main channels can continue, rather than being replaced by the site that carries light rail. Compensation is a possibility.
The OS is installed to an SD card (no hard drive as files are not being retained locally) and the radio devices are 3 small USB RTLSDRs (see https://www.rtl-sdr.com/about-rtl-sdr/ ) and antennas. Other than that only an Internet connection is needed.
