Frank Kozik (1962-2023) immigrated to the United States from Madrid, Spain in 1976. Working as a doorman at a nightclub in Austin, he began producing posters for the featured bands in the mid-eighties. He has produced artwork for a diverse range of musicians such as Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Green Day, Neil Young, Sonic Youth, and many more. Kozik now lives in San Francisco and has been described as "one of the rock world's top poster artists", interviewed in Rolling Stone, and is now listed with the Smithsonian American Art Museum
