1940s Toy Cash Register made by Western Stamping Co., Jackson Michigan, sold under the label "Little Storekeeper". Very cool. Just imagine the kids that played with it at the time!!!
The register is tin-made, about 6x8x8 inches in size, and everything is original on it, including the paint. It has 10 keys, 1c, 5c, 10c, 20c, 25c, 30c, 50c, $1, "No sale" and "Push". When you push one of the cents/$ keys, as well as "No sale", a label comes up in the "amount purchased" display area (see pictures). When the drawer opens, a very nice and loud bell sounds.
The front tin, where the keyboard is, was shiny, and now is pitted. The pitting can be restored if you would like. The drawer does not always open (probably a spring is weak), and when this happens I help it a little. You can also fix this by opening the lower panel and possibly replacing the spring.
