Back-story: My aunt and uncle were the original owners of both bicycles, which they purchased in Illinois on the exact same day back in 1964. Later, in the mid-90's, they moved to Arizona taking these same 2 bikes with them to retire and live out the rest of their lives. I recently acquired both bicycles which were parked side-by-side (see photos 1 and 2) in my aunt and uncle's residential garage in Tucson. These are 2 of the remaining unique items of their personal estate. During the past year, the bicycles were carefully moved and transported from Tucson to my home here in Casa Grande AZ. At the moment, they are protected inside my enclosed garage.
I'm currently wishing to locate a genuine, niche bicycle collector for these 2 "Made in the USA" beauties as I'm looking for someone who can really appreciate rare, stock and unmolested bicycles. All parts and fasteners are present. The purchaser of these bicycles will also receive the accessory headlamps, rear fender reflectors and an ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS sales tag/guarantee card (see photos 5 and 6) for each bicycle. Please know that these 2 vintage bikes are now 60 years old, are completely factory-original (tires included) and were barely ever ridden. Even the accumulated dust on these bikes is almost as old. No extra charge for the dust.......haha!
