The Bianchi Nyala is a popular vintage steel-frame mountain bike from the early-to-mid 90s, known for its classic lugged design, often using Tange steel, making it a great commuter and praised for its solid build and Italian excellence in a MTB model.
Converted to a great gravel grinder with heavy duty AlexRims that have wider tires.
FYI - The AlexRims DA19 refers to a durable, double-walled aluminum bicycle rim, popular for mountain, hybrid, and touring bikes, available in 26" or 700c sizes, featuring compatibility with rim brakes or disc brakes, and often sold as part of complete wheelsets. Key features include strong construction for heavier loads (like e-bikes for DH19), clincher tire compatibility, and options for machined sidewalls for better rim braking or non-machined for disc use, using Schrader or Presta valves.
Has a Selle San Marco saddle made in Italy as well as the bike.
Has clip in pedals with a flat no clip side so it great for short and long rides depending on if you want to ride with riding shoes or not.
I liked this bike for regular riding on our dirt canals and roads as it is an efficient solid bike.
Could use an update on the shifters, but the old sliders work.
Have rear side baskets accessory and a helmet and gloves if needed or desired.
