I have a variety of these Continental Black Chili tires in 27.5" and 29", 2.4" and 2.6" wide. After a bit of testing, these are the shit for anyone who is finally done with other inferior construction (MAXXIS) tires. A Xynotal Trail (rear) and Kryptotal (front) is a seriously GREAT enduro desert hardpack combination, speed and grip. A Kryptotal (Trail F and Enduro R) is another. The Enduro version is VERY pinch flat resistant with bead insert/reinforcement. Skip that heavy cush core, you won't need it with the enduro casing. I personally use the Xynotal Enduro rear and Kryptotal Trail front (my personal fav front tire for Fast AND capable in rough chunk). This combo climbs well and descends with confidence. The Argotal is THE front tire to use in softer conditions or racing enduro or DH.
When you can find these at a bike shop, they are $100+ ea.
2.4 trail casings are $59ea when buying 2. (the lightest trail casing is pretty burly)
