I have a variety of these Continental Black Chili tires in 27.5" and 29", all 2.4" wide. After a bit of testing, these are the shit for anyone who is finally done with other inferior construction (MAXXIS) tires. A Xynotal Trail (rear) and Kryptotal (front) is a seriously GREAT enduro desert hardpack combination, speed and grip. A Kryptotal (Trail F and Enduro R) is another. The Enduro version is VERY pinch flat resistant with bead insert/reinforcement. Skip that heavy cush core, you won't need it with the enduro casing. I personally use the Xynotal Enduro rear and Kryptotal Trail front. Fast AND capable. This combo climbs with authority and descends with confidence.
When you can find these at a bike shop, they are $100 ea.
Trail casing is $69ea for 2.
Enduro and DH casing is $79ea for pair.
BULK BUY. Limited number of Kryptotal trail 29, 4 for $59ea, no tax. Save $100.
