E-Thirteen Tires are reputed for reliability, and more grip than a SS should have. These are not your lightweight puncture-happy race tires. And THAT's why we love them in Rocky Southern AZ.
Tubeless and folding. These are also the fastest E13 tires in terms of rolling resistance. More grip than minion SS, more puncture resistant than Schwalbe Rock Razor. I have used the Specialized Slaughter Grid but it was NOT sealant friendly for me, oozed through sidewall pinholes after a few weeks. These are good for fast rolling with real corner bite, and the APEX and APF sidewall protection offers more confidence if I need to use them on National. No sealant leakage either. In my opinion, these have better hardpack climbing traction, and same or better braking traction than all the semislick tires I have used. I have used them front and rear, thought some may worry about braking grip on the front. I thought they were great on hardpack.
The "PLUS + " compound on these is the longest lasting tread compound offered. Actual width is closer to 2.4. I have just a few of these.
