This is a technical riders reliable mountain bike tire. I have never been able to tear the sidewall. 60tpi and fast for the grip it delivers. Faster than DHR with no downsides. 900g, no slouch. Aaron Guinn runs the DH version in competition. This is a longer lasting (harder) compound for excellent rear lifespan.
