The "lite" version of this race tire is VERY POPULAR in XC racing circuits. This tire is the identical tire casing with added 120tpi sidewall protection (prowall), yet close rolling resistance One of the few really fast and lightweight tires that will handle our occasional rocky sections. Also favored over the competition for its cornering traction on hard wet sections. "Prowall" is the bead fabric wraparound up the sidewall. Pinch protection is better compared to the "lite" version.
