45T cassettes are just right gear range for E-bikes, XC or Shuttle-Downhill bikes. The smaller big ring gives extra terrain clearance. I have used these with SRAM chains and derailleurs or shimano, both work fine though I prefer XTR chains, I have them for $79ea.
