Kobe Bryant made the transition from high school to the NBA look easy during
his rookie campaign in 1996 - 97. He had his coming out party during the 1997
NBA - All-Star Weekend when he walked away at the 1996-97 NBA Slam Dunk
Champion. His father Joe "Jellybean" Bryant played for three NBA Teams over
eight seasons, the 76ers, the Clippers, and the Rockets.
