Elvis Presley’s Grandmother
This is an album I found in a large collection I purchased.
It is personalized from Pricilla Presley as a gift to Elvis’s grandmother-in-law, Minnie Mae or Mama May, as he called her. Mama May was very important in Elvis’s life. She traveled with him to Germany while he was serving his country and after her divorce from Elvis’s grandfather, Mama May moved in to Graceland and lived with Elvis and his family, including Priscilla Presley, who also called her Mama May.
Since I just recently acquired the collection, I haven’t taken the time to authenticate the signature or the attribution but by doing a search it is quite apparent that it seems authentic and the story is easily researchable.
Feel free to ask any questions. I would be happy to refund the purchase price if the album was sent away and proven a forgery. I’m not sure why anyone would fake this though.
