My father in law was one of the last of the horse cavalry
and this is some of his tack from just prior to WWII.

The spurs are US Cavalry issue from the late 30s or
early 40s. They are marked NEVER RUST.
The leather straps are still in good condition
but could use some saddle soap or leather conditioner $50

The snaffle bit is unmarked and I don't think it is
GI, but is something he used in that period $20
