One of the Eight ORIGINAL American Football League (AFL) teams. They started their first year of play in 1961 as the Titans of New York before changing their name to the New York Jets. They were the only AFL team to win a Super Bowl (III) (Joe Namath Super Bowl MVP) before merging with the National Football League (NFL).
I have two different JETS mini helmets @ $60.00 each. Buy one or buy both. Each come with a display case and labels marking the years each helmet was used. The pictures do not do them justice. Look closely at the bottom of the cases for the years. There is a lot of flash and blurry. If you need better pictures please ask. BUY THEM BOTH AND I WILL THROW IN A SUPER BOWL III HAT PIN! The gumball size helmets are $5 each. The micro size jersey is $15.
Helmet one is the white helmet w/ original airplane with the word JETS in it. It has a gray TWO-BAR facemask and was only used in 1963. **SOLD **
Helmet two is the Dark Green helmet with black facemask used from 1990-1997.
Helmet three is the White helmet with a very RARE METAL LINEBACKERS facemask used from 2007-2018. They sure look great together. Great to display during football parties, in your den or office or even your little ones' rooms to excite them for their team. Makes a great Fathers Day, Christmas, Birthday gift too.
