1989 Indy Pace Car Trans Am, T.T.A. 17,946 Documented miles, all original, unmodified, no paint work, no accidents, we're the 3rd owners of this special car. There is no corrosion of any kind now or in the past (I can put it up on the lift for inspection) and it's been stored in a climate controlled garage when not in use most of its life. These are truly special "one year only cars" and their appreciation is assured, especially the unmolested originals. Most likely if you're reading this ad you're aware of some of the items that make these cars so special, but for those of you that aren't, all 1555 of these Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Indy Pace Car editions were equipped with a modified/GM engineered version of Buick's legendary intercooled Turbo V-6, and they were one of the very few cars to Pace the Indy Race without performance modifications, they were and continue to be truly celebrated for their terrific combination of the Grand National powertrain and the suspension and handling of the Trans Ams F body. If your considering the purchase of one of the very most sought after performance cars of the 80's, you'd be hard pressed to find a better example. A purchase of a car like this allows you to be able to enjoy the car shows and collector meets in this turn-key example which will only appreciate while you own it. I have the unique graphics that celebrate its Indy car history new and in the box and just taped one on for the visual effect if you'd like to have them on.
