1970 Ford Ranchero GT, "M" code 351-4V. Looks, starts, runs, drives, and brakes nice. Nice interior. Factory A/C (newer components), Power Steering, and Power Disc Brakes in the front. No Rust. Brand new wheels and tires. The original wheels and wheel covers are available with the vehicle.
From what little information I have on this vehicle, it was registered here in the Phoenix area by one owner from 2005 to 2021. No history before that date. The information I have indicates that the engine was rebuilt, machined, and balanced approximately five years ago and that the transmission and suspension were rebuilt. Mileage when this work was done is unknown. The rear axel was completely rebuilt with 1/3.00 gears, bearings and seals this year as well as the new front wheel bearings, races and seals. I had the rear end rebuilt because someone had put lower gears in the back and I wanted it stock so it would cruise down the interstate. The front end has been aligned and goes down the road straight but does like to follow the seams in the road. It passed emissions inspection this year.
The body is very straight except for a very small imperfection on the right front fender. Does not show up in the pictures. No information on if or when this vehicle has been painted. It looks great. The paint code is 2. If you pay close attention to the GT stripes on both sides of the vehicle, you will notice that the stripe on the drivers side goes past the door and the stripe on the passenger side stops at the end of the door. Those stripes look original but the stripe on the tailgate appears to be newer. Bright chrome and stainless trim in great condition. NO RUST.
The interior looks very nice. The A/C works but the heater does not. The turn signals work but the right indicator on the dash works sometimes. The Alternator indicator light comes on occasionally but the charging system has been checked and is working fine?
I have tried to point out the "good, the bad and the ugly" to the best of my ability. It is what it is, a very nice survivor that could be taken to the next level. It looks and drives very nice but is not perfect. I have a lot more money in this vehicle than the asking price of $15,000 so I am pretty firm at that. Please come look at it and drive it then you will know if it is worth that. I have only owned the vehicle for nine months and an selling do to difficulties that come with age.
If you are a serious buyer, please call for appointment to see and drive it but, please don't call if you have to sell something before you can buy it or to point out everything that is wrong with it or before you have your wife's permission to buy it. This phone does not receive text messages. 48zero 24eight eight749. Not interested in trades. Thanks for looking.
