We are in our 70s, my boyfriend has lung cancer for which he is receiving treatment. He needs no personal assistance at this time. We would love someone who has common sense and a natural feel for the needs of others without having to be told. We order dinner out several times a week so it is not like we are in need of a cook daily. We’d like to eat a good breakfast a couple mornings a week but most of the rest of the time we have yogurt and a banana or toast and cereal. The big thing is having someone that can make the coffee the night before, and clean up the kitchen after we do prepare a meal. We have a dishwasher.
We would also like someone that would be willing to help us with the laundry. We actually each probably have a load of laundry per week and then a separate load for sheets and towels. That’s it!
We live in a very comfortable and safe area in Chandler and we are willing to exchange VERY REDUCED RENT for intermittent help. If you are a people person, you will understand. We are asking for minimal help but that you could be available for times when we may need more.
You would have your own private bedroom and bath. We are neat and clean and absolutely need the same in someone who will be sharing our home.
In addition to someone who is neat and tidy, we need someone that keeps a normal schedule … basically, someone who is up during the days and sleeps during the nights. We do have someone who comes into the house to clean every few weeks, but during the interim periods, we do our best to keep our home neat and clean. We have no pets and we want no pets at this point in our lives.
You would access to a beautiful backyard and swimming pool at your convenience.
You would also have any time off you need and if you do work a part-time job, work remotely or go to school, that should work out too, depending on what the hours are. We mainly are looking for someone to help us in the breakfast hours and dinner hours occasionally and be available at night if we need any assistance, which has been rarely ever. We just need the assurance of someone down the hall that could help if one of us falls.
