Smart Hoops is looking for an Assistant Coach for an early childhood basketball + movement development sessions
We are an early development sports program working with kids ages 2–5, focused on coordination, movement, listening skills, and fun basketball-based activities.
👶 Role Overview
You will assist and lead during a structured kids session that blends:
Basic basketball movement drills
Coordination and motor skill activities
Fun games designed for attention + learning
Positive, structured engagement for young children
This is NOT competitive coaching — it is early childhood development through sport.
✅ Requirements
Experience working with young children (ages 2–5 preferred)
Background in coaching, daycare, teaching, or youth programs
High energy, patient, and good communication skills
Reliable and able to show up today in Tempe
College students in education, kinesiology, sports science, or related fields strongly encouraged
Must be able to pass a background check
💰 Pay
$22-30 per hour
