Kenwood KP-800 Direct Drive Turntable 33.3 and 45 RPM with automatic lift and shut off. This model runs on 100V and requires a 120V to 100V step down transformer.
This is the last of the Kenwood tables with an S-Arm but has one of the best motor drive circuits featuring the Dynamic Center Lock, core-less and slot-less motor.
It has an after market JBN dust cover and cork platter mat, and metal hinges from a Sony.
The Kenwood operates flawlessly. Cosmetics are very good to excellent; I've tried to show the nicks on the back of the plinth in the photos.
I have rotated this it in and out of service in my personal system for the past 5 years and now thinning out my collections.
