This is an opportunity to purchase a wonderful sounding and rarely-seen-for-sale CD player. This completely solid-state CD Player is very similar to it's sibling, the CDP-7T, but without the tubes. I am not the original owner, but it has only changed hands a couple times and has been well looked after. Previous owner had a new laser installed as the original started to get finicky with certain discs. It works wonderfully now and has easily played every CD I have tried. Overall condition is great for its age with the only blemish being a scratch on the top of the sliding lid that I attempted to photograph. With it being on the plastic, it could very likely be buffed out. Comes with the original manual, remote, and grounding plug for the digital out.

This top loading cd player incorporates a totally new technology around hi-resolution digital to analog converter with upsampling by digital signal processor technique (DSP). The circuity uses a discrete device amplifier for output stage - this active device has been selected at very low noise operation and tracking precision for both stereo channels at better than 0.1 db ! For the best, clear, detailed and smooth sound no one capacitors are in the signal path: the analog output is dc operation. A solid shielded cabinet (aluminium for aereonautic applications) has tickness of 2.0 mm to reduce interference from emc field for a better signal to noise ratio.
Great attention by the designer has been focused on design of power supply, this circuitry operates with over four-thousand microfarad capacitors for reduce noise and best reservoir energy, this hi value capacitors works together with special ultra low noise voltage regulator devices as shunt-parallel technology.
