The perfect gift that the family can enjoy for years!
Hello. Many of you know me as the guy who transfers vintage reels of 8 mm movies for people, but I'm now also offering VHS tape transfers because many of you have asked if I do that as well.
My transfer machine also accepts VHS-C and Super VHS-C camcorder videocassettes. The machine does not accept tape formats such as Mini-DV, Hi-8, Digital 8, and 8mm tapes.
Transfer companies typically charge around $15 per tape based upon two hours or less of video per tape - tapes over two hours are prorated to cost more. I charge only $15 even if a tape has six hours of video on it! The reason I can offer cheap prices is because I'm semi-retired and film and video transfer technology is a hobby/passion of mine, and of course I don't have high overhead like a transfer company/office has.
I can save your video files onto a thumb drive(s) or SD card(s) which you provide and both of which are inexpensive these days.
VHS tapes were not meant to last forever, and every day that goes by is one day closer to your precious memories being lost forever. Old VHS tapes are in danger of being destroyed by mold, age, and ribbon deterioration. Transfer them to digital before the memories are lost forever.
I love bringing people's memories into the digital age, it's a labor of love for me and something I enjoy doing which is why I do it for a low price. My real job consists of being a paralegal for a large downtown law firm.
I look forward to chatting with you!
This holiday special ends December 20 because that's when I'm heading out of town to visit relatives for Christmas.
P.S. I also transfer reels of vintage 8 mm movie film for only $10 per reel, and you can find my ad for that service here. I have the cheapest prices on the planet. Sorry, but I do not transfer 35mm photo slides or audio cassettes.
P.P.S. I only accept projects of $100 or more because I keep all the sensitive/delicate equipment boxed up between projects and it's a bit of a hassle putting everything together when beginning a new project, and I don't bother doing it unless it's worthwhile. Thanks for understanding.
